    Which big media endorsements mattered most in the NYC Mayor's race?

    Who are the "king makers" in the political sphere among Democrats?

    When I wanted to find out about the candidates I walked over the bridge to Harlem and talked with people in front of a grocery store.

    Shoe leather is ascendant.

      @futurebird

      It seems the New York Times hit piece "Our Advice to Voters in a Vexing Race for New York Mayor" was maybe "effective" – just not in the way its authors had intended…

        @futurebird I hear the winner only accepted small donations and campaigned largely through social media. Is that right?

          @albertcardona

          Yes. He used our public funding option which meant he stopped taking any donations at all MONTHS before the election.

              @katzenberger

              I didn't even see this.

              (and that may be the deeper point here.)
