If I’d remembered Vicente Romo was a White Sox, I’d have used him and his brother Enrique. (I always just think of Vicente as a Padre/Dodger.)

The one that seems to be forgotten is Barrios. Never read/saw anything about him until I had internet.
And the best slugger never played in the majors. Héctor Espino only played 32 AAA games in 1964 but didn't like it and came back to hit 453 HR in the league, a record later broken by Nelson Barrera, who also only played 25 games in AA.
