      @futurebird It was my wife and Lester Smith of Abbey Road Studios who extracted the photos from the mutoscope Lester had found and digitised this video (Lester was the specialist in restoring and maintaining old studio equipment esp microphones up til his retirement last year)

          Another way to look at this is:
          men place animal famous for biting and tearing things apart, a literal "terrier" in front of expensive machine and are shocked when the obvious occurs.

              It's and old film that was called "Nipper runs a-mock"

              Nipper being the name of the RCA terrier.

              But, it's probably not the exact same dog. Just a variation on the theme from the same time period.

              Does that make it "genuine"? IDK
