This post did not contain any content. They make it sound less like a bug and more like apple made a breaking change in how IAPs work.

This post did not contain any content.Wait, we can do this? All this time I could have just say that the bug is unfixable?

This post did not contain any content.Good. It was a terrible port (I don't think it's earned being called a remake) that sucked compared to the original from 22 years ago.

This post did not contain any content.Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, btw. Didn't realize it was on mobile, that's tempting.

Good. It was a terrible port (I don't think it's earned being called a remake) that sucked compared to the original from 22 years ago.It was so disappointing, it would have been so easy to make it work with couch co-op and online multiplayer with just a little bit more effort. I was so excited when it was first announced, and then I don't think I played it beyond the first day it released after trying online play with my brother. The original was a masterpiece of couch co-op, but it's increasingly difficult and expensive to play it on original hardware anymore. Fortunately you can get away with connecting multiple instances of m-gba and dolphin to recreate the experience on emulator for couch co-op at least.

Any purchases in the last year will be refunded. They haven’t just abandoned them.

Wait, we can do this? All this time I could have just say that the bug is unfixable?Imagine me spending the last two weeks working full time to figure out what the fuck was wrong with our network / API manager when I could have just told them "nothing I can do about it"? Damn!

They haven’t just abandoned them.Yes but they're hoping a percentage of people don't go looking for news that their game has been removed and they need to take action to get a refund. They remove it from the store automatically, but don't refund automatically. Though I bet there may be an argument that the payment platform being Apple means it's opaque to square, it's still always customers losing. Even if it's just a percentage.

Even if it's just a percentage. How could they refund automatically? Credit card info changes, lots of one time cards. People are happy with their purchase and have already moved on. If you’re active in the game, which would be the people that this affected, you would know about it.

This post did not contain any content. What the..? If this bug is "unfixable" (lie), then just release an update that unlocks everything for free for everybody instead of screwing everyone who paid before 2024.
