Giving tonight's #ALCS start to Mad Max Scherzer is maybe a little crazy seeing as how poorly he pitched from mid-August on, but going with a wily vet just might work out. He was rolling pretty well for most of July through early August and may well have been able to correct his pitch tipping issue. He's well-rested and the M's haven't seen him this year, either.
Under no circumstances do you allow a guy this homer prone to pitch to Cal Raleigh, though. Someone is definitely taking Mad Max deep tonight. #bluejays #mariners
