Folks, you're out of your mind if you the unilateral attack angle is going to make a lick of difference. Yes, Congress is supposed to get final say, but also absolutely fucking nothing is going to happen to Trump for breaking that part of the law because THEY ALL WANT THIS.
There were literally like 38 people willing to sponsor a bill giving the authorization to Congress expressly for THIS attack - there are like 538 members of Congress. Nobody is impeaching him for what they WANT TO DO ANYWAY

The VAST majority of US Senators and Congressional Reps, whether they are willing to admit it or not, are absolutely thrilled with what Trump just did. They and their donors have wanted a war for a very long time, and now they got it, and they can still credibly turn to their outraged voters and say "hey man, not ME, talk to the dipshit in the White House."
That's the reality of what's going on here. Your leaders are not as opposed to Trump and his fascism as you are. I'm sorry.
