Who do you think will advance in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs?

Again! Kings are the best they've been the last four years against the oil in the first round, but as always.... (Gestures to the Connor McDavid). Oilers in six.As an Oilers fan I'm feeling pretty anxious, the team is severely banged up, and trying to score on Kuemper this year has been an exercise in futility. McDrai will have to be at full power to pull this one off. I'm gonna say Oilers in 7, but I would also not be surprised if the Kings go on a run this year.

Leafs. I clearly haven’t learned my lesson.

You know it's the one thing I miss most about reddit, so I thought I'd try to get some discussion going with the playoffs afoot

Yeah it would be good if it's more active. Reddit is just a cess pool but I miss the Colorado Avalanche sub Reddit and the hockey one. Who's your team? Or are you bandwagonning?
-
Ya, agreed, all the more reason to shoot the shit here! I'm a sens fan, so currently suffering lmao

Ahhh no. Gutting...hopefully you turn it around with the next two home games. Just getting a small edge on Toronto and hopefully they will start to crumble. I'm looking forward to getting Landeskog back for the first home game. It's going to be electric!

I didn't realize they were in a funk, I was eclipsed by the Ovi record chase. What'd you think of their play last night? They've leaned pretty heavily on LT their first two games. If you look at how the Caps finished the regular season, losing to the Blue Jackets, the Isles, etc, it didn't inspire a lot of confidence. I'm glad they're off to a 2-0 lead in the series against the Habs, but I think they'll need to find another gear if they're gonna make a deep run this year. I'd love nothing more than to see Ovi win another cup before he retires, and I think they can do it this year if LT stays healthy and everyone eats their wheaties, but it's gonna be a slog. Then again, I know that's how its supposed to be. We'll see!

I must've been asleep b/c I didn't recall the Panthers' having slipped so far toward the end of the regular season that Tampa got home ice advantage. Hell, the cats finished only one point ahead of the Send! Granted, they were missing Tkachuk and Marchand for a good chunk there. Based on how well they turned it around in Tampa, I won't be surprised if they complete the sweep in Sunrise.
