    Every day I learn an interesting new fact about this mess. Today I found out that the "Birthday Book" with letters from Trump, Clinton and many others was "leather bound" it was bound in NYC by Herbert Weitz, a very exclusive "fine bindings" operation. So this wasn't just some binder from "Paperchase"

    It's probably a *really* fancy book.

    I'm fascinated by the fact that the page was shown to a reporter but they were not able to publish a photo.

      @futurebird Emptywheel reports that the book was shown to the WSJ by Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyer, which explains all the odd details to my satisfaction.

        @Virginicus

        Do you think we'll ever see the book?

        Or will it be destroyed and lost to time?

          @Virginicus

          Personally I think Maxwell's team has a heap of stuff, but it may not be "illegal" stuff just seedy things. Gross polaroids, that book, additional correspondence.

          I also kind of believe that Trump never went to "the island" but that isn't really important because that's not the only place these things were happening.

          They've been waving this stuff around trying to make the most of how it's exposed to get her better treatment in prison and it's worked.
