If you're wondering what consequences X has faced: none. At all. A few months ago when Grok called itself MechaHitler, the service was shut entirely for days, the same day. When this women issue happened, Elon laughed.

To be honest, I've taken the understanding that this stuff is being done also (and especially) to underage people. And that Grok has ability to "estimate age", but still allows this. Not inly that, but what kind of stuff is in it's training data, if it can generate accurate enough material of the sort. At least I assume that the images are "sufficient enough" for those who prompt them.

@alihan_banan @GossiTheDog If I'm reading 18 US Code § 2252A (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2252A), then yes, a kid asking for Grok to create CSAM of themselves and Grok 'delivers' that image as a reply, xAI or X could face potential civil liability since Grok itself can't be held criminally liable.
I can't guarantee that in this scenario a child might not be held liable to some degree. Probably not criminal prosecution since a minor can't "knowingly" solicit CSAM of themselves, but some measures may still be applied, like counseling or some civil consequences. Then again, I'm just a gal on the Internet, not a lawyer, so
