    @Saltssaltgirl

    You know what's funny about this (not haha but actually sad)?

    I've wanted this charm on a silver snake necklace for so many years now but it is engraved with "I fall in love with you every day" on the back so I won't buy it for myself and can't ask my son to buy it for me.

    Sigh. I love it.

                @Waitnwallflower@beige.party @Saltssaltgirl@mas.to We are all deeply flawed, all works in progress, and we all fuck up sometimes.

                The 20-year SF webcomic
                Schlock Mercenary had an in media res book, "The Seventy Maxims Of Maximally Effective Mercenaries". Maxim 70 stated, "Failure isn't an option. It's mandatory. The option is whether or not to let failure be the last thing you do."

                Acknowledge the fuck-up ...

                  Maybe I'm extra fucked up.

                    @Waitnwallflower The best advice I've ever been given is "Talk to yourself as a kind friend would". That voice telling you you're fucked up - that voice is not your friend and does not want what's best for you.
