What is your worst cable?
Mine is USB mini to breadboard pins, one of my first soldering projects so the job is terrible, and I used a cheap cable that was already fraying. It has a big tape lug, solder blobs and the mini connector waggles ominously. Rising smoke would not be surprising.
It is time to let go.

@futurebird
Handmade: I made a bunch of cursed usb-power cables with Dupont headers at the loose end. They're handy to quickly power a hobby project, and they're Good Enough for little devices like climate sensors.
From an Amazon seller with disdain for UL and other standards bodies: I have a beep collar for the dog that came with a 1-A-to-2-C USB splitter. You're supposed to plug the remote and beep module into the same USB port to charge. -

@futurebird There are so so many.
I have a little adapter cables for pretty much every connector ever put on a cell phone. Including some that are USB on one end and the other end is shaped like the phone battery.
Worst that I've made and still regularly use: NEMA 14 (US dryer plug) to NEMA 5 (US wall outlet). Yes it is wired to provide 220V to whatever you plug in.
A cable that has been in the box of USB cables for over a decade but I've literally never used:

It's like the USB cable version of a parasitic plant that taps into the branches of a tree and doesn't photosynthesize for itself.
