@futurebird It's pretty decent at typesetting maths (incl. matrices), especially considering it's still a young project.
My only reason to keep using LaTeX at this stage is when I need to submit to a journal. But even then, it's starting to make sense to author in typst, and convert to tex as needed via pandoc, just for the writing experience (instant preview! comprehensible programming!) and expressive power (vs markdown's limitations)
