My Norwegian mother actually is applying for German citizenship. Not for this thing, but so she can vote against the Nazis in the next election.

‘Stop Killing Games’ Initiative Marks 721K Signatures Ahead of 31st July Deadline -
My health potions are green and poisons are redThere is (was?) an electric power provider in Germany by the name of Yellow. Their whole marketing was "electricity is yellow!" -
8 Games with Excellent End-of-Life Plans (for Stop Killing Games)Baldur's Gate 3 is great in that regard. DRM-free, cross-platform multiplayer, Steam integration, their own token system to connect players. And if everything fails you can still connect to each other via IP. And even if **that** fails you have local multiplayer. Except on consoles, because Microsoft and Sony are big poopoo heads. -
Duke Nukem Rights Acquired by Devil May Cry and Castlevania ShowrunnerI dunno, it was pretty over the top back then already. Just lean into it, put him across some ultra feminist and let them both grow from it. Similar to Austin Powers. I think Civvie said something along those lines in his DN Forever video. -
Support for Beat Saber on PS4 and PS5 ends, shining a light on PSVR2's lack of successI got a Quest 1 (back when it was still supported) for cheap on ebay. PC VR and sideloaded free games and piracy have kept me afloat. I'm not even logged in to Meta's shit. -
Microsoft’s next-gen Xbox has an AMD chip inside and is ‘not locked to a single store’Oh, a Steam Machine? -
Steam beta gets native Apple Silicon support — the only public Arm version of SteamProbably was just for the old Intel Macs. Proton/Wine could be used on OSX for a long time. Wine for ARM has also been a thing for a while. But it only worked with ARM Windows software. Combining Wine with x86 emulation has also become a thing in the last few years. And rumor has it that Valve have beem dabbling in it as well for Deckard. But I don't think it's very widespread yet. But that is probably about to change when Valve are increasing their ARM Mac efforts. -
Xbox's handhelds have Valve in their sights, not Nintendo | OpinionI didn't even entertain the idea that someone might think this is in the same market as Nintendo. At least since the Wii Nintendo has been in a category of its own. Either you want a Nintendo console or you don't. But having an Xbox or PlayStation or PC doesn't factor into the decision beyond availability of funds. (of course fanboys will always exist, but they are a small minority) -
NO ONE ELSE SEES IT?!And usually it's the overpowered joke character who notices. -
What are you adding? You're not too far off. But she said it nicer. -
What are you adding? Our first use of the speak with dead spell revealed that the bandit had a cousin in Neverwinter. I made it my personal quest to find her and give her news of her cousin's passing. -
Russia says it won't arrest players after seizing the studio behind the Russian World of Tanks offshoot, accusing it of funnelling funds to UkraineThey'll just evaluate your performance in the game and allow you to play a much more realistic version in Ukraine. -
Why are modern games obsessed with parrying? | Semi-RamblomaticThe funny thing about Clair Obscur is that because they made parrying "mandatory" people now focus on all-hit runs as the hard thing to do instead of no-hit runs. So they're proving that it is actually not mandatory and that the game is really a normal JRPG that is just a bit hard in the beginning.
