I am welcoming new attempts at life sims because EA is just shitting all over its series, but... Everything we've been shown about this one looks so *bland*. I don't want my life sim to be realistic. I want it to be crazy/cynical/over the top. I never had the impression all the Sims fans that are fed up with EA's bullshit were asking for the game to be more serious. They mostly ask for it to work at a basic level and they hate, hate the increasingly abusive monetization.

It’s unique. Nothing to get too excited about but the story is interesting. I finished the game in 2.1 hours so make of that what you will. Chances are if you like short narrative driven games then you will like it but go in blind for full effect.

I watched someone on twitch playing this and there was a point the character was playing a phone game and it was so frustratingly accurate the way it portrayed the “watch ads to get gems, but the ad is a fake game that you try to close but you click the wrong X and it leads to a broken link” experience perfectly

It's true theoretically carbon fiber filling will always reduce Impact resistence, but it shouldn't be too much of an issue for this application when the polymer already have exceptional impact resistence and thus a lot of headroom to spare. In other words, because of how the polymers like PA/PC already have so much impact resistence, the stuff usually riot shield or motorcycle helmet shell is made of, there will still be more than enough impact resistence after the impact resistance reduction from CF filling, to be sufficiently impact resistent for a throwing mug LMAO
