Mozilla's survey about the future of Mozilla and AI is terribly biased towards AI.It's incredible how obtuse they are about their own user base, and what motivates someone to choose Firefox to begin with. Anyone who likes this crap is already perfectly happy using Chrome or Edge.

I find it interesting that there's loads of people who made a core part of their identity campaigning against trans women being in women's spaces and how it impacts women, who have gone completely silent about Grok being used to undress and brutalise w...I believe it is already covered as a criminal offense in the US under Title 18 Section 1466A.

I find it interesting that there's loads of people who made a core part of their identity campaigning against trans women being in women's spaces and how it impacts women, who have gone completely silent about Grok being used to undress and brutalise w..."From now on, we'll only participate in production and distribution of illegal sexual imagery if you pay us" isn't really the principles stance that Musk thinks it is. If anything, it's worse.

An old phone with a cracked screen is the new “new iPhone” the only way to one up some with this is to have either an eink screen OR pull out a blackberry or flip phone that somehow still does modern apps in some janky way. It's super weird that they've hyperfocused on decreasing the Z-axis while bloating the X- and Y-axes, and another example of their obsession with unvalidated assumptions about user needs. Everyone wants a mini, but they keep pushing phablets that don't fit in our hands or our pockets.

In practice, anyone walking around with a ~$1k cellphone without a protective case is insane, and the cases end up filling out the space such that any practical or aesthetic benefit from thinness disappears.
We'd all be happier with slightly thicker devices with better batteries and resistance to damage, but we're cursed with this uncomfortably-thin-with-a-bump nonsense instead until we figure out how to convince tech bros to go outside and touch grass.

In the most general sense who is *more* likely to remember and hold to account a famous person who cheats on their committed partner having been transparently dishonest with them about the nature of that long term commitment?Right wing social norms strongly disincentivize confronting infidelity. Women who are cheated on find themselves without a support network if shameful behavior within their family group comes to light. Divorce is considered a sin, far worse than infidelity. Women are expected to tolerate and forgive endless bad behavior from their spouses, but forgiveness for the male in-group isn't extended towards the out-group, which is where divorced women and single mothers find themselves. And the role of women tends to be economically and socially dependent on their husbands.
