Couldn't agree with you more. I was talking with the Mrs about this today, like there were several unfortunate things (crazy amounts of), and baseball is a game of inches and all of that. But their base running was borderline amateur hour. Think of all the moments throughout the world series too, like there was one where the ump called it a strike but it was assumed it was a ball that led to a third out, like that's just crazy stuff. You'd expect that from a little league team, not one in the depths of the world series. Regardless, it sure was fun, and I'm still pretty thankful for the ride they gave us. Forever Jays!

Ok, an hour after the game has ended, I have taken precisely one breath. And not another one until we know the outcome of tomorrow night. Have some oxygen on hand, I think I might need it. Also for real my blood glucose is 20.1 right now, and I haven't ate in hours. The stress is *REAL* folks.

I've got 40+ years of being a Toronto sports fan, and id advise you personally to not waste your energy. Believe when there's something to believe in, and this ain't it. *MAYBE* they'll wake up for game 3, but Seattle is going to be nuts and I have a hard time reconciling how they are going to bail out of this scenario.

I wouldn't even waste money putting fuel in the jet at this point. I don't know what the hell has gotten into these guys, like all they had to do was go play 0.75 times as hard as they did against the Yankees, and we wouldn't be having this convo. Seattle's got a good bullpen, but come on.

Back to the Toronto of old, swinging at everything, hollow responses and fumbling balls. Franchise collapse of epic proportions. Mariners sweep in 4, unless something dramatically changes.

It would definitely make things harder for sure. Character building, as my father would say lol

It's one bonus for living out west for sure, we were just sitting down to supper when the first ball was thrown. I miss a few things about Ontario, but the late night sports tilts aren't one of them. I have vivid memories of being a small child fighting like hell to keep one eye open at like 1am on a school night watching NHL playoff games going into three OTs.

We also burned too many pitchers. Wasn't much to like out of the Jays tonight, don't know what's gotten into them. Bullpen pitchers didn't look great either. It's not like it was an offensive blowout either, if anything it put everyone to sleep. Looked like the Jays of old even, light jogs to first, swinging at everything... Hope it was just a one off. Also the home plate umpire was terrible too. Not suggesting this made a difference, but buddy had a strike zone that swung all over the place, which affected both teams. Hate to see that shit this deep in the playoffs.
