@mcc @phooky @futurebird I love the idea that rather than Starfleet being the best, most evolved of the Federation, they are actually the oddballs and outcasts who need their own space apart from everyone else.

They're on an interstellar space craft. There is no real day and night for them. So, why is there a night shift with a dramatically reduced bridge crew? Wouldn't it make more sense to have two (or more) full crews?
