If you're GenX you probably remember Alan Dershowitz as a prominent defender of the idea "every defendant deserves a vigorous defense." He defended Claus von Bülow! O.J. Simpson!
I 100% believed in that idea for the longest time, thanks in no small part to him.
Now I look at the trail of wreckage behind him and I'm like, "If this is what a vigorous defense looks like, then nah."
It was never about a "vigorous defense." It was Dershowitz's narcissism.

Honestly, my best guess is that somebody has kompromat on him that's so incredibly damaging that they've totally got him by the balls.
Of course, that doesn't explain the genocide denial, but that's easy… It's the same brainwashing and post-Holocaust trauma all the other Jewish Boomers were subjected to.
