@dee I'm glad people are being more loud about this. But, I wonder how it can break through into the wider cultural currents. Driving a Tesla in NYC is very much out and has been for some time. That these are the exact people who have been most curious about electric cars makes this perhaps more effective. There were like 200 people at a protest at a Tesla dealership in Cleveland. Cleveland!
@petergleick This is the best idea I've seen for "what democrats should do" that seems like something they COULD really do. So, we should ask for it. It's kind of basic. But it's not like we are asking them to tie themselves to a building or lie down in the road. They could do this and it would have a positive impact. It would remind people what these agencies are supposed to be doing and make it clear who is responsible for them breaking.
