@futurebird Thank you! In terms of knitting compression socks . . . I'm not sure how well a hand-knit version of those would work. Both because of tension, needle size, and type of elastic that I imagine would have to be included with the yarn. I'm a nurse, so I regularly wear compression socks for work. I have many, many pairs. But I've never been inspired to make myself a pair. Seems way too involved. But I'm sure more advanced crafters than me have tried!

Finally finished this years-long WIP late last night! Finally finished this years-long WIP late last night! This is the #12 Adult Basic Socks by Ann Norling. Pattern available on Ravelry. Had to do some additional darning where I picked up the heel . . . It was a little loose, but the completed version looks great! I added a couple extra inches to the ribbed cuff to give the option of slouch socks. My wife loves them and is looking forward to cooler weather to show them off! #knit #knitting #ravelry #WIP #socks #fiberarts #handmade
