Did you know that there are people who defend the 1 trillion pay package at Tesla?
I still don't understand it at all. Why?
The company isn't doing well. But even if it were ... WHY.

Can someone explain it to me like I am a small child. How will this pay package cause Tesla investors to make money?
How will it increase profits and make big dividends?
How.

Why can't the investors simply have the pay package as a bonus dividend?
Since they are so flush with cash they can blow it on management in a way that does nothing.

@futurebird if you gave me $1 trillion I could post things on social media that ruin the company's reputation better than musk can

@waitworry @futurebird Muskolini asked why Bessent was a homosexual in a typically homophobic way. Yet another example of white-asshole-on-white-asshole violence. He should ask too why Clarence "Uncle" Thomas is black.

@futurebird @burnitdown Well, if you’ve been reading their defense of it, you would see that they say they need to keep the CEO from getting distracted and not actually working there anymore. By giving him an extra trillion dollars, he will pay attention to the company that he owns 19% of and is the source of his wealth.
It is, I assume, standard practice in capitalism to offer to triple the wealth of employees when they are not doing their jobs?

Oh and OOPS...Musk was Duffy of NASA.That's what Musk "asked" because he hates him. I hate them both. Bessent is secy of Treasury and handed over the keys to that dept to Muskolini and DOGE. Yet, because of work of people like me and tens of thousands of others, Scott can have his husband and mansion yet he serves these assholes; having benefited from leftist struggle. So: white-asshole on white asshole violence as one expects from Trump nazis.

When conservatives first encounter a phrase like “environmental racism” it can break their brains. They have no idea what such a phrase could mean. They assume it means the left has gone mad and thinks trees and air are racist.
(of course “environmental racism” is real— “racist urban planning decisions” might be more clear.)
I bring this up because— could we be missing something here? Is there some kind of “discourse” context that would make this sound less bonkers?

Let me run it. I will do it for 300k and I will do a better job— For public relations I can use #picaTheCat — she is very popular.
Normally I’m not so glib about saying I could do the job of someone with more experience— things are often harder than they look. However I think most people here could muddle their way to better results.

my first thought is that it's an anti-Semitic dogwhistle tbh. Hitler believed in "Judeo-Bolshevism", which is an anti-communist and anti-Semitic conspiracy theory. it's what i usually assume when nazis say "socialism" or "communism".

Oh. Yeah. Hadn't seen that angle but it wouldn't be surprising if that's part of what she's on about
