    For Immediate Release:

Living room and bedroom correspondents report a sudden increase in "nose booping" a terrifying new phenomenon wherein the small triangle nose of a kitty (that "looks like a rubber button" according to *untrusted*` sources) is booped by the horrible tentacle-like finger beans of a human.

Any cat may fall victim for *literally* "no reason" and the humans do not give treats as compensation and seem to think it is funny.

More at 11. We will fight back.

@futurebird that is why I have convinced Murphy Danger Paws to face towards the stairs in his cat tree. Had my share of nose boops from him.

I'm a little disturbed that so many people heard the phrase "cat science" and just kept on rolling with it like this was in any way OK.

                I think it's #PicaTheCat with the clout.

@futurebird Our most recent family cats were...well, let's just say "not part of the cat science core research team," but I firmly believe that there *is* a cat science core research team.

Listen not all cats can be a part of the brain trust as it were. They all do their part... in their own ways.

@futurebird in every decent timeline, there was a great 1980s movie called _Cat Science_ , but in our timeline, the worst timeline ever, it was changed to _Weird Science_, and totally ruined.
