A week ago we heard that the tape of the mysterious and irregular meeting between the the Deputy Attorney General of the entire United States, Todd Blanche (who is also the former personal lawyer of the president) and Maxwell, Jeffery Epstein's accomplice might be released.
And now? Crickets. Where is that tape.
The one where she says "Trump did nothing wrong."
Just like with the Epstein files themselves. "we will release it" then they don't.

Totally agree. I do think, however, that mild symptoms of urban disorder can make less politically tuned in people susceptible to this kind of propaganda.
Which is why now is a great time for mayors of big cities to put a little focus on sanitation. The right talks about sanitation a lot in connection with this issue as if persecuting people will make the trash go away.
But we could actually make cities cleaner and everyone would like it.
Why are we talking about crime in cities where there isn't any extraordinary crime when the CDC was shot up with 100s of bullets killing a police officer and state politicians have been assassinated?

Since I miss all three of those false markers, but still have been in unions and ... you know work, I've experienced endless dissonance when political conversations talk about "concerns of working class Americans" then pointedly exclude people like me.
As if I am not riding the bus to work everyday. I'm sick of it.
Do you work?
Do you earn a wage?
Could you stop working and care for yourself and your family on your investments and the property and businesses that you own?
There is a pernicious idea in US politics the the "working class" doesn't include "professionals" (working class people with degrees) further there is a hazy notion that the real "working class man" must be a man and probably a white one.
Everyone who works for a living is "working class"
Maybe! We don't really know. I want to make that clear. I haven't found, evidence beyond some concerns like those raised in this video and what I've seen myself.
I cannot however say that this isn't totally possible?

I'm interested in the technical discussion but this post was also about a "bad feeling" a corrosive feeling that comes from not knowing if what you are looking at is real or not.
I think that problem there isn't so much technical as human.
No one has said "YouTube would never do such a thing without telling the creators and users!" Because no one has that kind of confidence in them. And no one should.

Why is the "look" of the compression making people think of AI, though?
Here is a rabbit hole. And this might get me off youTube at last. I feel like I'm going mad. Like I can't trust anything. Maybe that's the point or maybe it's projection.
Is something going on? Or are people reacting to a bad environment and seeing digital demons everywhere?

I think Banks tried to "steel man" the conservative world and the value(?) of hierarchy but became disgusted with the intellectual exercise and about two thirds of the way through the books he's like "no this has zero redeeming qualities nothing worth saving"

A geometry proof (for year 9 geometry) generated by AI is an nightmare to grade. When you find the error it's something a person capable of making the rest of the proof would never do.
I wonder how university mathematicians feel about AI written proof-shaped objects?

I kind of feel like that was one of the big points of "player of games"
It's grappled with the question of "but what about people who can't be happy unless they can dominate others?" and basically showed why this whole question is trash.

The only way to be a little important is to make impressive art, or do daring things that you could maybe brag about later.
