In less happy news, I've been Reviewer 2'd. Got comments back on a revised draft of a paper I submitted to a journal back in December. The gist of the comments:
Reviewer 1: They should've revised more, despite my not giving any specific direction about how that revision should look or what, exactly, needed revising.
Reviewer 2: This is dumb. I hate it. Reject this.
Reviewer 3: Publish as-is. They've addressed all the prior comments.

@sendtherunners Yes to the first part (civics knowledge). No to the second part - I avoid watching the news religiously, and have for the best part of two decades. It's increasingly important to my health.
