As a guy from Sarnia (Ontario's oil refining hub--see banner image), there is nothing more terrifying than seeing photos and video of refineries burning out of control.

As a friend of #Ukraine, there is nothing more thrilling than seeing photos and video of russian refineries explode.

Something like 20-40% of russia's refining capacity has been taken offline in a shockingly effective ranged campaign and the enemy's economy is starting to scream. I think we all wanted to see a conventional Ukrainian victory along the Melitopol axis in 2023 or a land for land swap after the Kursk incursion in 2024, but this looks like it might be a war winner.

If you ask fans of other AL East teams who they dislike more, it's going to be the #Yankees over the #RedSox by a fairly large margin.

Anecdotally, when fans of each come up for road games in #Toronto you'd much rather sit next to Bosox fans (real ones from New England that is). They're jovial, generally like talking baseball and will engage in some friendly back and forth. Traveling Yankees fans are typically sociopaths who won't engage the locals to the point that you wonder how some of them cleared customs.
