Yeah, those are all kinds of bikes, but none of that describes a fixie. I'm being a little silly on this post, but the bit about going backwards is just how my bike works.

Back in my day if you could get down to work without letting your pretty little toes touch the dirty street once you could feel good about that. 34th st was impossible, but if you found the flow it was possible.

There was a legend about a biker with white soles on his shoes because he never touched the street. Saw him do a track stand for 80 seconds while a whole bus full of tourists unloaded. Didn't even flinch. Those were the days.

Some bikes have coaster breaks, but on a fixie if you manage to pedal backwards the bike will simply go backwards and it's hard to keep your balance doing that although I've seen it done.

Some people could weave going back and forth to avoid stepping off.

I have memories of cutting down the lever on my breaks and weighing it over and over to save ounces and now they just put a whole five pound battery on the bike.

Can't even bunny hop. What is to become of these youth.

But most of us? We use the shoe! Kids talking about "new shoes for their bike" and they are buying pads for their breaks.

It's all gone too far.

I haven't seen a good red light trackstand in YEARS.

Kids these days always on the ebike with the disc breaks. In my day we had but ONE gear. And we LIKED it. We felt lucky.

Stop calling it a “letter” from Trump to Epstein. It’s more like a page from a book. A 22 year old bound leather book of admiration letters, photos and memorabilia.

If it is a plant or a fake someone was planning this for 22 years. I keep bringing up that we know who bound this book. The shop is closed but their work is very recognizable. It’s hard to call the *only* Trump’s page a fake for these reasons.

The book as a whole is … disturbing. Given the context.

But this guy. It could be a signal to others who are similar kinds of criminals. A little dog whistle about a "wonderful secret" or "enigma" or whatever they called their abuse.

The fallout from this is going to be baaad.

And I feel bad for the workers but this just shows they are running out of people to target.

Shockingly people who live and work in the US are part of the economy, our family and friends and if you snatch them up people will go nuts.

They probably went after this place since it had a large number of people who have not been here long as it was a new GOVERNMENT SPONSORED project.

Good luck getting anyone else to come.
