@yuki2501 I was looking for some examples of stingless bee nest entrances to show you but instead I found another paper I need to read. Stingless bees have very interesting nest entrances designs ... mostly to keep out ants at night. @futurebird taught th summercamp kidz a local algorithm to count in binary ztanding in a row. In fact i created a cicuit out of a dozen of them to do th counting and convert it into decimal. We also learnt a bubble sort algo with them standing in row usung only local info. No cpu necessary.
@valthonis @jbrownesq I thought it was really unlikely this was left wing violence because all of the violent death threats about this guy online were coming from the right.
@FolksVelo I think it's mostly become nicer without really ever gentrifying since I've been here for the past 18 years or so. It's still very poor, but there are more people than ever, but it's also very friendly and safe all things considered. Like most of NYC everyone is very ambitious and always up to something "big"
