@rakoo Obviously not. And this isn't making it safe at all. NYC was attacked when I was here, I lived through that and now I think it's a little more likely to happen again. Not that this should be the moral driving force of what we do. It's not.

@futurebird I had an algebra teacher who was fond of saying "I know geometry, trigonometry, algebra, and calculus, which makes me a polymath." (I still find his pun hilarious. : ) To be fair, he also knew Greek , and a lot about the history of science and math in Europe and the Mediterranean, and when he talked about those topics, he would causally draw an accurate map of the region, with time-appropriate labels and borders, as if drawing accurate maps from memory on a chalkboard was no big deal

Spotting ants in nature videos makes me so happy.Every documentary is about ants if you just look hard enough.

@ExponentialGPs Oh, and YES they are eating those caterpillars. They love soft little ones like that. When I find them outside I bring them in as a treat for my pet colonies.
