story idea: for unknown reasons a large corporation ends up using incredibly high-quality chatbot to field customer service inquiries. A very desperate person forms of relationship with the chat bot who is curiously able to relate to their problems and who puts them in touch with other people who share similar difficulties, specifically loneliness. Very little airline customer service is accomplished but a great deal of matchmaking happens instead.

Are there any *studies* on chat bot integration and their impact on customer service that aren’t cake studies made by the companies that sell the bots? Do they allow human and expert customer service reps to use their time more effectively? What happens to all the frustrated conversation data with a machine? Is it analyzed or just sent into a black hole?

Months ago I gave the specific example of not using your database programming and management skills to help build systems that will be used to abuse people. But, that's just what I thought of first because it's what I know best in that space. There are many other points of contact and many other opportunities to be intransigent. Don't miss a single one.

Doesn't "myrmecochory" translate literally to "ant walking with" as in seeds are "walked" to new locations by ants?

I love this colorized video of Penn Station in 1945. So much to learn from this one about fashion. Mostly that the zuitification of the suit was REAL look at how boxy those blazers are.

I like the idea of aliens that aren't "intelligent" in any way that we'd recognize. They just mastered space flight to keep doing what they have always done. In the case of ants? Raising queens and drones to fly far and wide to make new colonies.

:: An alien spacecraft lands on Earth. However, because it is so small, almost no one notices. It is like a tiny meteor—a shooting star entering the upper atmosphere. Then the spacecraft opens, and the ants exit: perfectly ordinary ants, not super-intelligent just regular ants.

They've found a new way to conduct their nuptial flight. They're going places ants have never gone before.
