@babelcarp @tea That 18th century pot is super interesting. The Brits had just started with tea so the early teaware was Chinese in style. But that changes over time, but also because the tea exported to Europe and the US tasted better with milk and sugar or else sugar and lemon since it just wasn't as subtile as high quality tea sold inside of China. So the brew-ware adds sugar and milk bowls and so on.

@cinebox @hipsterelectron @sophieschmieg @not2b @deilann @pigworker quaternions did nothing wrong... except maybe failing to magically model fluid dynamics in 3D in the same lovely way that complex numbers work in 2D.That kind of drives me nuts. We can work out airflows using complex numbers ... but only in a 2D plane.

@futurebird I once mentored a learning Python workshop and we wasted an hour trying to install it on windows and figured out McAfee was blocking python.exe. The whole experience makes me irrationally angry to this dayThanks for the tip about thonny, gonna be passing it on!
