I can't say "this student is struggling because of X and needs Y they don't fit any pattern. Details don't work. LLMS kind of smooth that over and just shoehorn an answer that sounds good. And some people do that too, but I don't like it. Just say "I don't know really. Never seen this before."

You can't know until after the fact if there would have been a shortage in that time frame. There's also the extra wear you have put on the car. If you took a rental car for 5 minutes and returned it I doubt anyone would charge you with anything.

But it doesn't solve the problem of incoming posts. For that, it would make sense to still slot incoming posts based on the sync setup. But there is still the problem of Lemmy not accepting follows from category actors.

Well the more mainstream gaming got, the more idiots are buying games and stuff, the more gaming companies exploit us. I did not know about that for Sony and Microsoft. I knew other shitty things they did, but as i only play on PC and having a Switch (only console after PS1), i miss some details about how really bad gaming exploit has gotten.

I've given up because of time. I do not have that much time to game and when games started to hide better weapons and gear behind paywalls and progression systems that will take several hundreds of hours to complete, it sucks. So you're fighting against those 14year olds who have spend an ungodly amount of time on the game and have better gear and that is not a good experience

I must've been asleep b/c I didn't recall the Panthers' having slipped so far toward the end of the regular season that Tampa got home ice advantage. Hell, the cats finished only one point ahead of the Send! Granted, they were missing Tkachuk and Marchand for a good chunk there. Based on how well they turned it around in Tampa, I won't be surprised if they complete the sweep in Sunrise.

@futurebird @jenesuispasgoth I wrote the original thread after watching the Folding Ideas doc on Decentraland, which brings up Snow Crash a couple times. And I'd just finished reading Akira.I'll now add Paprika to the recommendations, because *holy shit* that's a good (& relevant) movie. It doesn't have most of the aesthetic flourishes associated with cyberpunk but... watch it, and I think you'll see.

I actually do not miss the powerful save-or-suck mechanics as "roll the dice to see if you get to keep playing" is more randomly punishing than fun IMO. But getting rid of damage type resistance doesn't make any sense, as that's one of the few ways weapon choice actually matters! Giving monsters better initiative seems like a good idea, because otherwise they risk dying without getting to actually do much. Making creatures like Gith and Gnoll, Aberrations and Fiends etc. makes sense, and gives a bit more meat to the creature types. But having them not be humanoids also seems really weird. Either they should be both, or "humanoid" should be renamed. So it really seems like a mixed bag to me. Good well implemented ideas, good poorly implemented ideas, as well as oversimplifications.
