@futurebird @Lyle NY rainfall seems to be well over 1000mm per year. You do have plenty of fresh water. Our average is over 2000mm per year, and we've still had years where the water supply is insufficient. But that's not because of supply - our main problem is getting rid of it all - but reservoir capacity, which hasn't kept up.Using grey water for toilets and so on is a good idea and some places do that already. But it doesn't seem critical for you.

@TerryHancock Unemployment numbers are much much more fuzzy. But "new jobs added" isn't. Because for most jobs you need to file paperwork for social security. (even if you don't pay into it because it's part time)

@GreenSkyOverMe Just speaking about the somewhat atypical NYC school where I work. It's a school with high academic requirements and charming neurotic children. (I mean that, they are charming, but also too focused on grades sometimes.)

@futurebird @lienrag if they're in a different state, anything the governor tries to do about it will be more difficult, and much more likely to gain nationwide attention. And that's what the cause needs: nationwide attention. Without that, their sacrifice probably ends up being meaningless.(Note: I suspect the pragmatic difficulties will end up being more important than the legal-technical issues.)

I had similar thoughts, especially since the main game has been out for a while. I've played the main game multiple times, 100% it, helped others play it, and I've even done speedruns in various difficulties just to see how long the "core" story would take. Does that mean the DLC will scale for me due to my 100%-ing? Will it be based on my various difficulty settings? Will it be my most recent playthrough? We shall see. In the end, it'll be interesting to see what they do with the story; the main game's story was a little odd for me in one particular case since Indiana Jones ::: spoiler spoiler encountered Noah's Ark ::: in the novels at an earlier stage of his life.

Official EXP and drop rates were unbearable. Even reaching job 2 was an accomplishment lol. PvP... Never really managed to get into it. It took a specific build and a LOT of rare equipment to even get your foot into the door. Thara Frog Card and Marc Card and whatnot. Without those "basics" which were actually really hard to find, you'd die super fast. Plus consumables... To do a single WoE you'd possibly burn through hundreds of potions. It took INVESTMENT.
