I haven't looked into the differences between their implementation and how groups are implemented using 1b12, but what I have discovered is that the 1b12 community is much larger than I gave it credit for.

@futurebird @danielberkman I remember someone saying to me once that (at least at some point in the past -- too afraid to check now) that the wikipediia article for "Klingon battle weapons" was like 10x longer than the history of woman's suffrage. I say this as someone who is very appreciative for the wikipedia project, donates money to them, and spends lots of time reading articles on there. But yeah - - even before mass disinformation also a lot of biases amongst the editors...

@futurebird I do think, though, that we made progress over the last years, also regarding discussion culture. I know Wikipedia as a overwhelmingly progressive place. That can be quite different with such honeypot articles, and yes, those are often a problem. And yes, we have many problems, but no obvious solutions to them, unfortunately.

Pretty much, except for the racial feat I mentioned since it's a feat. In 5e, you tend to get your Racial ability stuff at character creation, save for some more powerful stuff that unlocks down the line. For instance, the Teleport abilities I mentioned for the Eladrin and Shadar-Kai are things they have out the gate, but the added effects of those teleports don't come until a few levels later. It's the same for a few other races where they will have some starter thing that is improved later on (IE, Tieflings start with a set Cantrip and level 1 spell at the start, and at levels 3 and 5 get higher level racial spells), but most stuff is out the door from character creation

I don't think anyone is arguing against their right to sell it, they're being called out because people really shouldn't buy it. It's kind of a bad financial decision. If you still want to that's your decision but people shouldn't buy it without knowing they could get a better deal elsewhere. That's why these things get called out for being too expensive, not because they aren't or shouldn't be allowed to, but because people deserve to know it's a horrible deal.

The goofy mouse mode is honestly the only thing about the Switch 2 that reminds me of the old Nintendo, adding new input methods to new hardware. Even if it has limited support, it will be a very good thing for certain experiences like shooters, strategy games, Pikmin, and Mario Maker.

I agree. Housing is a human right, and any person being homeless is a failure of the political systems they exist within. Homelessness is a crime against humanity. No human being should be denied their own shelter. The US government would allow more people to become homeless if all presently homeless people were housed. It would undeniably be a good thing of Elon Musk did house all the homeless, but without systemic change, we will find ourselves back at Square 1 in 5 or 10 years. It is necessary to view and treat shelter as a human right that all people are guaranteed and provided by the system. Much the same as food, potable water, healthcare, and heat.

What does it have to do with the marathon IP? Like im genuinely curious if this has some kind of link to the original games or if its just bungie planning a tax write off by tanking an IP they own the rights to. It seems like the only reason theyd slap an old IP onto something this generic looking is because they need a cash grab and expect the game to fail.
